NC DHHS Press Release - Lung Injury Cases Related to Vaping Increase; E-cigarette Use on the Rise - 10/29/19

As of December 27th, 2019 there have been 2,561 hospitalized cases (55 new cases since 12/17) and 55 deaths in the U.S. associated with EVALI (e-cigarette, or vaping, product use associated lung injury). There have been 76 hospitalized cases in North Carolina as of 1/2/20 (2 new cases since 12/4).
