Troy Park

Troy is extremely proud of its local park system that includes six separate facilities. All of our parks are open year round from sunrise to sunset. There is no charge for using any of the Town of Troy’s parks facilities, except the Senior Center. The Lowe Warner Memorial Park, which is also the location of the Senior Center, is our largest facility and offers tennis courts, horseshoe pits, playground equipment, a sand volleyball court, and a sheltered picnic area. This park also includes a fitness trail and is the site of Troy’s American Legion Baseball field. Blair Park, in downtown Troy, is a shady spot to enjoy a quick lunch and watch the neighborhood kids try out the swings, seesaws, and other playground favorites. Capel Park serves as the home base for the Dixie Youth Baseball League. It is currently home to Selby Brown Field and there is another field currently under construction. The VFW Ball Field on Taft Street is home to several softball leagues. Peabody Community Park in south Troy is the newest park facility and boasts lighted softball/football/soccer field, as well as playground facilities.
