Accessible restrooms, fishing piers and picnic facilities are a few of the new amenities the public can start enjoying this spring at four recreational access areas on the Pee Dee River.
These enhancements are part of ongoing efforts by Duke Energy to ensure quality access areas for recreational use on the company’s lakes. Three access areas are open with one site scheduled to reopen in late April/early May.

Blewett Falls Lake
Blewett Falls Tailrace Fishing Area, 2593 Power Plant Road, Lilesville, N.C. Improvements at the Blewett Falls Tailrace Fishing Area were completed in early March and include an accessible restroom, updated public information signage and new kiosk.
