Health Education

  • Prenatal education classes
  • Family Planning Classes
  • Individual and group educational classes available on a variety of health topics
  • Speakers available to speak to groups on a variety of health topics
  • Child safety seat education and installation
  • Safe Sleep classes
  • Conquering Motherhood parenting class

Immunizations

  • Available Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • No appointment necessary

Maternal Health

Prenatal Care Clinic

  • Complete prenatal care including physical exams and laboratory services
  • Nutritional Counseling
  • Prenatal Education Classes
  • Access to care for high risk pregnancies
  • Patients may chose to deliver at either Moore Regional Hospital or Stanly Memorial Hospital

Pregnancy Care Manager

  • Identification and coordination of services to promote a healthy pregnancy
  • Assistance and support with employment, transportation, education, and medical care
  • Community resources and emergency services

Child Health

Well Child Clinics

  • Physical exams and assessments (vision, hearing, and developmental) for the prevention of illness and early detection of problems
  • Referrals for abnormal findings
  • Birth through 21 years of age
  • Kindergarten Assessments
  • Lead screenings ( 1 - 6 years of age)
  • Dental Varnishing for children 6 months to 3 years

CC4C

  • Services for children with or at risk for chronic illnesses, developmental, or emotional problems through referrals from doctors, hospitals, parents, family, or friends
  • Annual physical exam including pap smear and breast exam for women of childbearing age
  • Prevention of pregnancies
  • Laboratory services
  • Referrals for abnormal findings
  • Education and counseling about chosen birth control method
  • Detection and treatment for specific problems/infections

Adult Health Clinic

  • Cholesterol
  • Glucose
  • Pregnancy Test
  • Blood Pressure
  • TB Skin Test
  • Pap Smears
  • Sick Care
  • Physical Exam

Communicable Disease

Sexually Transmitted Disease

  • Testing and treatment for STDs
  • Confidential counseling
  • Free AIDS/HIV testing and counseling

Infectious Disease

  • Evaluation and treatment for tuberculosis
  • Follow-up/investigation for all reportable infectious diseases
  • Lead agency in managing outbreaks

Family Planning

  • Annual physical exams for adolescents, and men and women of childbearing age
  • Prevention of pregancies
  • Laboratory services
  • Referrals for abnormal findings
  • Education and counseling about chosen birth control method
  • Detection and treatment for specific problems/infections
  • Pre-conception and Basic Infertility Services
  • Postpartum Exams
  • IUD, Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC)
