2024 Primary Election Schedule
Absentee by mailvoting begins January 19, 2024 and ends February 27, 2024. Absentee ballots must be returned to CBOE office by March 5, 2024 by 7:30PM.
Voter Registration Deadline is February 9, 2024.
Early voting absentee voting begins February 15, 2024 through March 2, 2024 - Weekdays 8AM until 7:30PM. Last day is Saturday March 2, 2024 (Hours 8AM-3PM).
Primary election is March 5, 2024 from 6:30AM until 7:30PM. All precincts are open.

Requested Absentee Ballots mailed: January 19th (by resolution of NCSBE)
Registration Deadline: February 9th
Early Voting Begins: February 15th
Deadline to Request a mailed Absentee Ballot: February 27th at 5:00 p.m.
Early Voting Ends: March 2nd at 3:00 p.m.
Last Day to Request Voter Photo ID: March 2nd at 3:00 p.m.
UOCAVA Request Deadline: March 4th at 5:00 p.m.
Primary Day: March 5th
ABS Ballot Return Deadline: March 5th at 7:30 p.m.
Deadline to Provide a Photo ID: March 14th at 5:00 p.m.
UOCAVA ballot return Deadline: March 14th at 5:00 p.m.
Canvass: March 15th at 11:00 a.m.
