Montgomery County desires to maintain benefits for all citizens and families that qualify. In order to do so, each and every citizen should do their part in reporting fraud and abuse to the department.

The role of the fraud investigator is to
•Discover, pursue, and prevent fraud
•Seek reimbursement for over-issuance/overpayments
•Provide a deterrent to future fraud
•Maintain program integrity
